It’s our pleasure to share with you that Dr. Erin Michalak, CREST.BD Founder and Lead, is the recipient of the 2019 Douglas Utting Prize. The prestigious award is made annually to a person or group, working in Canada, that has made a major contribution to promoting the awareness of depression and/or suicide and/or to advancing the understanding and treatment of depression.

Dr. Michalak will provide the 2019 Douglas Utting Lecture on November 7th at The Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, where she will also be presented with the award and medal. Her topic will be Building Bridges: Harnessing the Power of Patient Engagement in Mental Health Research.
