We are happy to announce the addition of three new members of CREST.BD! Please join us in congratulating Dr. Nigila Ravichandran and Dr. Thomas Richardson in becoming network members, and Dane Mauer-Vakil becoming a trainee. All three nominations received resounding support.

Dr. Nigila Ravichandran is a Consultant Psychiatrist from Singapore. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior medical and allied health staff. Nigila is also the Vice President of Club2Care, and has been a Keynote Speaker and presenter in several international conferences.

Dr. Tom Richardson is a Clinical Psychologist working in a community mental health team for adults in Portsmouth, as well as a visiting academic at the School of Psychology, University of Southampton. His work focuses largely on finances and mental health. Dr. Richardson also has lived experience of bipolar disorder.

Dane is a Health Services Research master’s candidate specializing in health policy at the University of Toronto. He holds student research positions in comparative health systems/policies and implementation science. Dane’s overarching career goal is to improve the lives of people with or at risk of mental illness through rigorous health services and policy research.
