The Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research (affiliated with the University of Ottawa) has recently announced a new opportunity, the Emerging Research Innovators in Mental Health initiative.

This opportunity will provide up to five years of salary support, research support, and mentorship for young and early-career mental health researchers. This grant will provide a “runway” for these researchers to launch careers in exploring highly novel mental health research questions. The ultimate goal of this grant is to enhance Canadian mental health research capacity by providing support to emerging researchers with highly innovative research projects and ideas.
