A new article has just come out that was long in the works and that involves many of our team members here in Vancouver and Toronto. Bipolar disorder research 2.0: Web technologies for research capacity and knowledge translation shares some of our experiences with a variety of Web technologies (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, and this website). We found that many of these strategies were successful for promoting knowledge exchange with a broader audience. We also discuss how we analyzed engagement with our Web platforms to maximize their effectiveness. We hope you’ll have a read and consider the importance of Web platforms in disseminating your research and facilitating knowledge exchange.
