Welcome back to the Bipolar Blog! You may have noticed we took a long summer vacation and haven’t been actively publishing. Well, here’s why: We’ve been incredibly busy over the summer with one of our biggest projects – bringing a comprehensive update to the Bipolar Wellness Centre.
This update comes after almost a year of hard work by our dedicated team revisiting the core areas of the Bipolar Wellness Centre. We’ve refreshed our knowledge base and incorporated the latest science into our discussion of the fourteen quality of life areas; this includes the additional tools and resources, and a brand-new series of videos as well.
We’ve also put together a video to highlight some of these changes and how we went around that process. Network founder Erin, Community Engagement Group (CAG) member Nusha, and peer researchers Natasha and Amir also feature in this video and explain their roles in putting this update together. We’d also like to give a shout out to peer researcher and CAG co-chair Carolyn Ziegler, who took the lead with reviewing much of the peer-reviewed literature in this process.
Let us know what you think, and watch the video below for more information:
Exceptionally well done video. Looking forward to view the new videos and to read the new updated material. Thanks to all of you who gave birth to this “laborious … labor of love” for those of us who live with BD.
An intгiցuing discussion is worth commеnt. I do believe that you should write
more about this subjеct, іt miɡht not be a taboo subject but
generalⅼy people do not speak about such subjects. To the next!
Beѕt wishеs!!
Therе’s definately a lot to find out about this topiⅽ.
I reaⅼly like all of the points you’ve made.
