Dr. Lam’s research examines seasonal, treatment-resistant and workplace depression, clinical trials and guidelines, and eMental Health. He is internationally recognized as a clinical expert in depression and his research spans the spectrum from neurobiology to clinical trials of new treatments. Dr. Lam’s work has been supported by many agencies including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and by industry research grants. He has published over 300 journal articles and book chapters, and has edited or authored 9 books on depression. Dr. Lam also sits on the editorial boards of 6 international journals, including the Journal of Affective Disorders and the Cochrane Collaboration, and reviews for numerous journals and funding agencies.
I’m a pretty big sports fan (Go Canucks! Go Patriots!) and avid golfer. I spend the rest of my free time binge-watching Downton Abbey and other great TV shows.
