Catherine currently works in administration for Community Futures British Columbia, which provides support to entrepreneurs in alignment with local community economic development in rural BC.
Diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2002, following immigration to Canada from the UK, Catherine is particularly interested in the impact of work on mental health, and values psychosocial and additions/alternatives to medication therapy. She has over 15 years of experience in operational support for Biotech drug development and is a certified practitioner of Emotional Freedom Techniques.
Catherine has two grown up children, is an amateur photographer and nature lover, and enjoys having her dogs in tow while exploring the beauty of BC.
She has spent many a happy hour with her friends at Toastmasters learning public speaking and has spoken at the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Bottomline Conference in Calgary.
