Bipolar Bridges Update 3: Our App Survey Was a Massive Success!

From March 2020 to July 2020, we conducted two surveys to inform the creation of Bipolar Bridges, a phone app to improve quality of life for people living with bipolar disorder. One survey asked healthcare providers which apps they recommend for people living with bipolar disorder, and the other asked people with lived experience of bipolar disorder what they personally use. From the survey results, we’ll be able to find out which apps participants use or recommend for quality of life in 15 areas, including mood, exercise, diet and nutrition, self-esteem, leisure, and more.

We were overwhelmed by the response! Participants from all around the world shared their app ideas on our survey. We closed with 1003 participants that connected with us from 64 countries—all six continents. Our four gift card winners were located in the United States, Canada, and Indonesia, and each won $50 CAD. Thank you to all participants. Your expertise will help us create the best app we can!

    • Hi Teresa! We have been doing Zoom webinars where people can learn about managing bipolar disorder and submit questions. We’re on hiatus for the month of August but will be hosting the next one in September. You can watch the previous ones at http://talkbd.live/. 🙂
