PhD candidate, Spectrum Centre for Mental Health Research, Lancaster University
Glorianna Jagfeld has a BSc and MSc in Natural Language Processing from University of Stuttgart in Germany. Coming from a family of psychotherapists, she has always had a strong interest in mental health. Since 2019 she has been a PhD candidate at the Spectrum Centre for Mental Health Research at Lancaster University, supervised by CREST.BD members Steven Jones and Fiona Lobban and computer scientist Paul Rayson. Her research combines health research, natural language processing and corpus linguistic methods to study personal recovery experiences that people living with bipolar disorder share in online support forums.
I love to spend time outdoors as well as on my yoga mat and meditation cushion. My go-to activity for some extra fun and sparkle in life is dancing - mainly Lindy Hop, Blues, or tap.
