Biography

Laura has worked with CREST.BD for many years, and led content development for CREST.BD’s PolarUs bipolar disorder app. She is currently a PhD student in clinical psychology at the McGill University BEEP Lab, where she researches “loss of control” eating problems under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Racine. Laura has extensive experience facilitating research that partners with people with lived experience through her work with CREST.BD, and has helped bring these practices to her lab at McGill as well. She has diverse research interests extending from bipolar disorder, to problematic relationships with food and body image, to ways technology can both help and harm mental health.

What I do when I'm not working

In my spare time, I like to spend time in nature, ski, read, and *occasionally* game. :)
